HTC released an early teaser video for HTC U 11. The video shows off its Edge Sense feature.
If you are late to the party, here is the video for you.
The video has been very subtle and does not push the fact that it’s an HTC mobile. Rather, it ends with the HTC sign. This gives us a clear hint that the ad is pointing towards HTC’s upcoming flagship that will sport an Edge Sense feature.
The Edge Sense feature is quite an interesting and innovative piece of tech. According to this feature, tap on either edge of the device to reveal a bunch of features. You can select a feature or just go through the features by simply moving your finger back and forth.
HTC U is the successor of HTC 10. Confused? So am I. Initially everyone assumed that this phone will be named HTC 11, but the official word came that this phone would be named HTC U.
In an interesting turn of events, the name of the device that would be launched has been finally settled to HTC U 11.
The device will be a 5.5-inch gorgeous phone. It will have a 12MP rear camera and 16MP front facing camera. Another camera-specific device?
The phone will comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. Starting from Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, all the premium devices will have the same chipset unless its successor arrives.
The device will come in 5 colors – White, Black, Blue, Red and Silver.
There are many blogs which share the same story by saying the phone is squeezable. I wouldn’t completely agree nor disagree to that.
We won’t have to wait much longer to see the phone. It will be launched on 16th May. The company has already started sending out invites for this event.
