Is that a sign?
Is the OnePlus 5 launch around the corner?
Every manufacturer wants their phones to stand out from another manufacturer. They follow various strategies to do the same.
One of the very common strategies to grab eyeballs is by creating a hype before the launch. Companies like Samsung can afford to leak all the specs and yet manage to be the top smartphone seller every year.
Likewise, OnePlus has started teasing a new phone. Undoubtedly, it’s the OnePlus 5. The teasing was seen done on the company’s official Weibo account. It was then, reblogged by CEO Pete Lau.
Mr. CEO did not say anything about the specification of the device though.
OnePlus 3 was leaked in 2nd July. We might be getting some official news soon! Also, I’m expecting the device to pop up sometime in June. What do you think?
The first leak of the device was in China’s Radio Regulation Authority’s database. It was about the model number i.e. A5000. It cleared off the air about the phone being OnePlus 5.
But that was already known to us. 4 is considered as an unlucky number in China. OnePlus being a company from China has decided to go by its belief. The fear of number 4 is called tetraphobia i.e. the fear which the company is suffering from.
