Samsung Galaxy C10 will be first Samsung phone with dual camera

When every other company was manufacturing a dual camera phone, could Samsung be far behind?

As it turns out, Samsung Galaxy C10 will come with a dual camera. Previously, it was expected that the dual camera phone would be 2017 version of Samsung Galaxy C9.

The source of the leak is a twitter handle whose bio says ‘famous leaker in China’. He said that Samsung’s upcoming dual camera phone would come with Mate 9 Pro like camera setup i.e both the cameras would be placed vertically.

Besides a dual rear camera, there are two important points of attraction in Samsung Galaxy C10. The first attraction is Snapdragon 660 processor under the hood.

Snapdragon 660 has not yet been unveiled yet and will be officially launched on 8th May. This processor will be based on octa-cores with Kryo 280 cores. It will have 14nm process. The GPU used would be Adreno 512.

The device is also expected to sport 6 gigs of RAM as Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro had the same. Likewise, the internal memory of C10 is expected to be 64GB or more.

The second attraction is Bixby. Bixby is Samsung’s personal assistant just like Apple has Siri, Microsoft has Cortana and Android has Google Assistant. Bixby is present in Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ only. Samsung Galaxy C10 is also expected to have a dedicated Bixby button (just like in S8 and S8+).

The model number of Samsung Galaxy C10 would be SM-C9150.

As for the launch, the device will come in Q3 or later as there has been no official word on this. Sadly, there is no news about the device being launched in India.

However, if Samsung Galaxy C10 manages to reach India. The price of the device will not be cheap at all. It should be ~Rs.40000 as C9 Pro was priced at Rs. 36900.
