OnePlus 5 launching in India on 22nd June

After a lot of beating about the bush, OnePlus 5 is finally launching on 22nd June 2017 at NSCI Mumbai. The phone will be available for order from 4.30PM on the same day.

Interestingly, TrueTech leaked the pricing in India. According to them, this will be the official pricing in India. These prices are not merely the INR conversion from Yuan.

There has been a lot of rumor about the device sporting 6GB RAM as well as 8GB RAM. Needless to say, OnePlus 5 will come with 6GB as well as 8GB RAM.

OnePlus 5 Pricing in India

The 6GB RAM variant (with 64GB storage) of OnePlus 5is priced at Rs. 32,999 and 8GB RAM (with 128GB storage) is priced at Rs. 37,999. Just like OP3T, both the variants have a price difference of Rs. 5,000.

Another very talked about feature of this phone is how the phone looks. The phone looks like an exact copy of iPhone 7 with horizontally aligned dual camera on the back.

Even though it looks like an exact copy of iPhone, I don’t see it a reason to look down at. The phone has some amazing features and the iPhone looks make it look even more beautiful.

If I can get a phone with all the required features and looks exactly like the latest iPhone, why not?

OnePlus 5 is coming in different colors i.e. Black, Red, Blue, Green and Purple.

OnePlus 5 specifications

The other specs of OnePlus 5 include 2.34GHz powered Snapdragon 835 processor.

The company has been leaking about the specs of the phone subtly over the past few days now. The first leak was the Model Number in a Chinese database website.

It was followed by a leak by OnePlus’ CEO.

A few days back, there was a leak which showed an image capture in low lighting conditions from the rear camera of the phone.

The company has also discontinued the OP3T series making way for the new device as well as subtly making it a special edition one.

Did you read about OP5T?

There have been rumors that OP3 OP3T users will get special discount offers on upgrading to OnePlus 5. My friends owning OP3 are quite excited and looking forward to the upgrade. What about you?
