This leak has originated in China. According to the leak, Xiaomi will be launching devices with Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 chipset in the second half of 2017.

But there is no official word on this.It should be taken with a pinch of salt.

There is also a rumor which suggests that Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 would also have the same chipset.

A recent news also revealed another smartphone from a different company to feature the same chipset. We are talking about LG G7. As far as the specifications of LG G7 go, this device will have OLED display and dual rear camera setup.

As for Samsung, there are 2 phones that would be coming with this chipset. They are – Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S9.

Speaking of Note 8, you will see refurbished version of the unfateful Note 7 next month.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is expected to come with a curved screen. Besides, there will also be a front mounted fingerprint sensor on the device. On the rear side, you might see a dual camera set up.

The device is expected to be launched by the end of June as well. The screen of the device would be 5.7-inch QHD curved AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixel. The display curved AMOLED display is manufactured by Samsung.

As usual, the device would come in 2 variants. The cheaper variant would have 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Meanwhile, the higher version would have 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Mi Note 3 will run on Android 7.1.1 out-of-the-box. The device will have 4070mah battery with Qualcomm;s Quick Charge 4.0 technology.

If goes without saying that the device would be a costly one. This is quite unlikely for a Xiaomi device. But looking at the specs, it is clear that the device would be expensive.

The official word has not come for pricing, but it’s expected to be around Rs. 40000. What do you think about the pricing?
