Huawei Mate 10 will come with Full Screen Display

Huawei is working on its next generation Huawei Mate 10. The device was rumored to come with a bezel-less display for some time.

Richard YU, CEO of Huawei has confirmed that the device will come with a bezel-less display. He has said the device will come with a full-screen display, but the exact specs have not been revealed yet.

Huawei Mate 10 might be a completely bezel less device or have the bezels on just the top and bottom bezels. Even if it comes with an Infinite Display just like Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, the device would still look quite gorgeous.

Also, the device has been said to compete with Apple. One of the highlighted features of the device is the display. Nowadays, not only the specifications of a device matters, it also matters how the device looks.

The Huawei Mate 10 will come with a dual camera like most of the premium smartphones these days. They have also said that camera would be an area of excellence for the device as well.

Yu said,” We will have an even more powerful product. The Mate 10, which has much longer battery life with a full-screen display, quicker charging speed, better-photographing capability and many features that will help us compete with Apple.”

Just like Siri and Google Assistant, Huawei is also working on an Artificial Assistant. Since the device is expected to launch towards the year end, it’s not sure whether the AI or Huawei Mate 10 will be available to first.

In other news, Huawei will give up making budget smartphones. One of the budget smartphones of Huawei of which I’m a fan of is Honor 5X. According to Richard Yu, the margins in the low-end smartphone segment is pretty low.

After the wonderful Honor 8 Pro, I’m quite eager to see how this device turns out. What about you?
