Motorola sold 100000+ Moto E4 Plus devices in India in a day

Motorola launched Moto E4 Plus along with Moto E4 some days back in India. The device was announced on 12th July and went on SALE at 12AM on 13th July.

The public usually is not aware of the units sold until the company has sold a huge number of units or its a recording breaking scenario. In this case, it’s been the both.

Flipkart sold 580 unit/minute for the initial one hour. It is also reported that 1,50,000 people visited the productions page on Flipkart in few hours after the SALE went live.

Moto E4 Plus, as the name, suggests that it will come with a huge battery. There is a 5000mAh battery which will be enough for a day or even 2 days in a row. The battery has fast charging technology which is a necessary feature for phones with huge batteries.

The Moto E4 Plus has a bigger screen than E4 i.e. it comes with a 5.5-inch display. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

The chipset used in the device is MediaTek MT6737 chipset that clocks at 1.3GHz. There is Mali T720 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. There is also an option of expanding the storage with microSD card.

The phone has 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Just like E4, these cameras also have LED Flash on either side.

Moto E4 Plus comes with dual SIM support which has VoLTE support. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, microSB port, A-GPS and Bluetooth v4.1.

The new device comes with some great launch offers. They re – EMI option for Citi Credit card holder, Moto Pulse headset at Rs. 649 instead of Rs. 1499, 2 months free subscription of Hotstar, BuyBack Guarantee of Rs. 4000, Idea data plan of 84GB for 84 days at Rs. 443 with no daily limit, up to Rs. 9000 on the exchange of old phones and extra 20% off on Flipkart SmartBuy products with it.

The device is priced at Rs. 9999.
