YU Televentures, the subsidiary company of Micromax Informatics, released a budget device in India. The device is named YU Yunique 2. It’s a successor of YU Yunique which was launched in 2015.
It costs only Rs. 5999 here in India.
The device comes with a 5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood of the device is MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocking at 1.3GHz. There is 2GB RAM for multitasking, 16GB of internal storage and up to 64GB external storage.
Looking at the need of the hour, the device will come installed with Truecaller and be 4G VoLTE enabled. Other wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, FM Radio, microUSB port and 3.5mm jack slot.
The Yunique 2 will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. In the camera front, it has 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The rear camera photos are promised to have more depth and richness while the front camera would be perfect for selfies and groupfies. It will be powered by 2500mAh battery.

YU Yunique will go on sale from 27th July (12PM) exclusively at Flipkart India. Flipkart/ YU hasn’t yet revealed the launch offers yet. It will be available in Champagne and Coal Black color variants.
