Meizu Pro 7 spotted with higher specs at Geekbench

Meizu Pro 7 now has a face and people can’t keep their calm. Meizu Pro 7 has been teased a lot for some time partly because of the specs but mostly because of no official statement from the company.

But now, Meizu has finally released an official look of the device. You can see it above. It’s quite similar to the one leaked from TENAA listing.

Meizu Pro 7 appeared at Geekbench with some different specs. This time, the device came with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and 6GB RAM.

Meizu has been in the news for some time. There have been many rumors in the air about it, but no solid proof has been found. Sometime back, Meizu confirmed the presence of a secondary screen on the back panel of the device via Weibo.

Besides the specifications, the final look of the device has also been leaked. As confirmed by Meizu earlier, there is a secondary display on the back panel as well.Meizu Pro 7

In the chipset front, the Meizu Pro 7 will be powered by MediaTek Helio X30 chipset. There were earlier rumors about the same, but it did not come with any solid proof.

You can also see the presence of a dual camera on the back panel which is placed on the secondary screen. This camera uses a 12MP IMX386 sensor which is exactly the ones used on Xiaomi Mi Max 6 and Mi Max 2.

In the display front, there is still no update on the secondary screen. But the primary screen is a 5.2-inch Full HD Display.

As for the secondary display, it can be used to check calls, notifications, messages and even to play some basic games.

Where many people are arguing about the functionality and effectiveness of a secondary screen, I have other doubts. Having a screen on the back will make way for a lot of scratches on it. Besides, how much would the device be user-friendly if the user wants to use the primary screen?

But of course, there is also a chance of the screen not being on point as many companies are trying to get it right and very few have been successful. I have seen the secondary screen on LG V20 and it is very small and situated on the top side of the primary screen. It is a thin rectangular screen and can do only a handful of work.
