Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 specs revealed via GFXBench

Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 has been visiting benchmarking sites now. A few days back it was spotted at Geekbench and now at GFX Bench. The device comes with a Model Number SM-C7100. However, there is no official word from Samsung yet.

According to the listing at GFXBench, the device will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat (Android Samsung edition) out-of-the-box. It will come with a 5.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel screen resolution.

Under the hood of Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 is MediaTek MT6757 octa-core processor with a clock speed of 2.3GHz, ARM Mali-T880 MP2 GPU and 4GB RAM.

In the camera front, C7 2017 will have 15MP front camera and 12MP rear camera. The front camera will capture picture and video at 4608 x 3456 pixel and 1920 x 1080 pixel. The rear camera will capture picture and video at 4128 x 3096 pixel and 1920 x 1080 pixel. Other rear camera features are autofocus, face detection, LED Flash, touch focus and HDR photography. In the storage section, C7 2017 will come with 64GB internal storage.

You can see that device will be a camera specific device. Also, it can be Samsung’s response to Vivo or Oppo’s camera phones.

Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 has cleared other certifications such as Wi-Fi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG, etc. It points to the fact that the device might be launched soon.

As mentioned earlier, the company has not given any official statement on this device. The device will definitely be launched after Samsung Galaxy Note 8 but surely before Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus.

Another noticeable thing is, the specs that are getting revealed at the different benchmarking sites are almost similar. Mostly (for other phones), there is quite a difference between the specs that are revealed at different benchmarking sites.
