Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was spotted at Geekbench bearing the model number SM-N950F. Some new specs of the device have surfaced. These include 6GB RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
There will be an Exynos 8895 powered variant of the handset which will be exclusive for the European market.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has been quite a controversial device. Controversial in all the good ways. It was supposed to be the first device which came with under glass fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately, there were some technical issues and it could not be done.
The latest leak about the Galaxy Note 8 says it will have a special edition named Emperor Edition. This edition will have 256GB internal storage and 6GB RAM. Sadly, there are also rumors which suggest this device would be specifically for the Chinese market.
Other features of the Note 8 are a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display. This feature was almost known when it was leaked that Note 8 would come with a display bigger than Samsung Galaxy S8+. The device will also use an Infinity Display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio (just like in Galaxy S8+).
A few days back another leak had surfaced. According to the leak, the dual camera of Galaxy Note 8 will come with 3X Optical Zoom. The rear camera would be dual cameras with 13MP lens and 12MP lens respectively. One of the lenses is wide-angle while the other one is a telephoto lens.
Under the hood will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC or Exynos 8895 SoC as per the market. There was also a rumor about the device running on Snapdragon 836 for a while. Let’s see which processor is featured in the device.
Other specifications of the device include 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB. It will be powered by 3300mAh battery and also come with advanced S Pen stylus. The much-rumored fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back panel as per the latest sketch of Note 8.
The Note 8 will come in 3 colors – Deep Blue, Black and Orchid.
