HTC smartphones have quite a good package overall. They come with simple designs, good camera and fancy looks. They retain quite a good number of followers even today as we see new companies coming every month.
HTC has phones in the budget section as well as in the premium section. But user experience is not completely opposite for both kinds of the smartphone.
HTC is coming with a budget phone. This phone is named HTC Ocean Life. Even though it is a budget phone, it is coming with Edge Sense feature from the premium HTC U11. For those of you who don’t know what is Edge Sense, the edges of the phone are so designed so that exerting pressure on them would allow the phone to carry out a couple of activities. Other HTC features to be included includes the camera, Xoe and USonic.
Being a budget phone, the Power Button does capture our eye. Also, we can’t ignore the massive bezels. Can we?
Another interesting feature of the phone is Android One OS. Google realised that everyone can’t experience stock Android cause firstly they don’t receive the update on time or as stock versions. Android One was developed to get an experience of Android quickly and at a budget price.
The device rumours first surfaced around July. The other specs of the device leaked then was Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, a 5.2-inch screen with 1080p resolution, 16MP rear camera, 12MP front camera, Bluetooth 5.0, 2659mAh battery and Android 7.1.1 OS.
Evan Blass, the famous leakster of Twitter also confirmed this news. He also shared a photo which confirmed the Edge Sense feature.
Even though the device does not have any of the fancy features like bezel less screen, experiencing Edge Sense feature at such an affordable budget is amazing.
