Huawei's smartphone with 4 cameras gets certified on TENAA

While many budget and premium smartphones are at the dual camera, some have migrated to the triple camera. However, in the quest to stand out, Huawei has taken a further step to launch a smartphone with 4 cameras. There will be a 12MP+2MP shooter on the rear side and 13MP+2MP shooters on the front side of the device.

Not much is known about the device yet as it has only been certified on TENAA. Whatever we know, has been jotted down below. The specs do give us an idea about the overall appearance and pricing of the device.

The device has a model number of RNE-AI00. The device comes with a metal unibody design with a fingerprint sensor on the back panel. As guessed by you, the front panel is devoid of any physical Home Button to give a smooth experience to the user. The front panel is a 5.9-inch Full HD Display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

Under the hood of RNE-AI00 is an octa-core processor with a clock-speed of 2.36GHz. The chipset company is yet to be known. There are rumors that it is Huawei’s homemade Hi-Silicon Kirin chipset. In the storage and RAM front, the device comes with 64GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM. The storage can be further expanded to 256GB with the help of a microSD card.

In the software front, you can see Android 7 Nougat OS under Emotion UI. All these would be powered by 3240mAh battery to keep it up all day. This Huawei phone is rumored to come in Blue and Gold colors.

With so many cameras, it is doubtful if the battery is enough for it. It will be nice to see how this device turned out cause the past few devices from Huawei (Honor 8 Pro, Honor 6X) has been quite good in the aspect of the camera.
