Two smartphones have been listed at TENAA. One of them is Vivo X20, while the other one is Vivo X20A. We were expecting Vivo X20 Plus but there has been some change of plans from Vivo.
Vivo X20 and Vivo X20 Plus will be the upcoming flagships from Vivo. From the first look, looks like the display would be a major contributing factor to the USP of the device.
The Vivo X20 will come with 5.2-inch while X20 Plus will come with a 5.5-inch display. However, both the devices will have an aspect ratio of 18:9 and Full HD screens.
Both the devices will have 6GB RAM with Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor (Vivo X20) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor (Vivo X20 Plus) under the hood. These phones will come with 6GB RAM and run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Nothing is confirmed by Vivo yet. Please take the above news with a pinch of salt.
When it comes to naming smartphones, no one can beat the imagination of handset makers. For instance, Lenovo was expected to launch Lenovo K7 smartphone after Lenovo K6 series. However, yesterday Lenovo officially announced (on Twitter) they will be launching Lenovo K8 smartphone on 9th August.
Likewise, Vivo has announced that they will be launching Vivo X20 and Vivo X20 Plus after Vivo X9, Vivo X9s and Vivo X9s Plus. There has been news that Vivo would be launching Vivo X10 or Vivo X11, but now it seems no longer true.
This has been revealed by a Twitter leakster who goes by the Twitter handle @mmddj_china. He has said that the upcoming smartphones of Vivo would be Vivo X20 and X20 Plus. Here is the tweet.
Next vivo X Series smartphone is X20/20 Plus.

Interestingly, in response to this tweet, another user replied with a photo of the same asking whether the device will have a full display.

The image displayed in this comment is of an almost bezel-less phone. It would be great to have one from Vivo. What is more interesting is the fingerprint sensor. Where will it be placed? Will it be placed under the glass of the front panel or merely on the back just like most budget and premium phones?
Going by the size of the device, the device will have a gigantic display of 5.5-inch or 5.7-inch. If we assume that Vivo X11 is this device then it will come with 4GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa core processor ticking at 1.8GHz. It will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
What do you think of the sudden change of plans? Tell me in the comments below.
