Vodafone partners with Lava to offer cashback on Feature Phones

Feature phones had lost their glory once smartphones with Android, iOS and Windows OS stepped in. However, 2017 is giving feature phones the lost recognization. It started with Nokia 3310 and now every manufacturer is coming up with feature phones.

During these times, telecom operators are also seeking the opportunity to partner with various companies and give offers to lure customers towards the company as well as themselves.

Vodafone has partnered with home-grown brand Lava. Vodafone decided to offer cashback (worth Rs. 900) to customers who buy a new feature phone from Lava. Keeping in mind the price of a normal feature phone, this is quite a decent offer.

The offer is valid up till 31st October 2017. Vodafone has been lenient in this regard. They have extended this offer for new as well as old customers.

When a Vodafone customer purchases a Lava phone, Vodafone gives them a cashback of Rs. 50 for 18months on minimum recharge of Rs. 100 in a calendar month. At the end of 9 months, a customer would have got Rs. 900 as cashback.

Associate Director of Consumer Business, Vodafone India – Avneesh Khosla said, “We are confident that the complimentary offerings from Vodafone will make the experience seamless at affordable rates. The collaboration will enable our existing and prospective customers to make the most out of their new device purchase.”

Senior VP, Head of Product – Lava International, Gaurav Nigam said, “Our partnership with Vodafone will provide our customers a cash back amount which is equivalent to the cost of our highest selling feature phone Captain N1. With this offer, we are certain to fulfill our promises of a pleasant experience to our patrons with continued reliability on their Lava devices. Our customers can choose any device from a strong portfolio of feature phones to avail this offer.”

This offer is valid for any old customer of both the companies. If you are an old Lava user, you have to get a new Vodafone connection. If you are an old Vodafone user, you have to buy a new Lava phone.

Sound interesting. Isn’t it?
