Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 might come with aspect ratio of 18 9

Until sometime, there were some premium features which could be imagined in premium phones only. Not any longer. Having an aspect ratio of 18:9 was linked to Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 kind of premium devices only. Not anymore, you might see it in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.

An upcoming Redmi phone is expected to come with an aspect ratio of 18:9. We know that Xiaomi phones are budget phones, no matter what specs they offer. One such fine example is Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. It came with a gorgeous display and unbelievable pricing!

Likewise, you can see others brands getting into this area as well. One such example is Micromax. They stepped into Infinity Display with their Micromax Canvas Infinity which was priced at only Rs. 9,999.

A domestic screen manufacturer from the hometown of Xiaomi has said that they are making 18:9 display panels. These panels would be used by Xiaomi for their upcoming phones. Although there is no solid proof of the display panel belonging to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, I’m voting for it.

Besides Redmi Note 5, the only other device is Xiaomi Redmi Note 6. Other devices which we might see anytime soon is Redmi 5 Plus and Redmi 5A.
