BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) Kerela has launched its international roaming facility for Prepaid customers in UAE (United Arab Emirates). This facility could be made possible with the help of Etisalat Telecom PTI.
CMD of BSNL, Anupam Srivastava said,”We are proud that we are partnering with Micromax a homegrown player which has been a key player on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. We are confident that Bharat-1 will help millions of users experience the data and calling experience like never before.”
Bharat-1, the 4G feature phone from Micromax is priced at Rs. 2,200 lets anyone be a 4G user at such a cheap price. BSNL has coupled Rs. 97 offer which gives you unlimited voice and data to the buyer.
The phone is the best answer to Reliance JioPhone. Since there are a majority of Indians who still use BSNL, this phone can be a hit amongst them.
Manoj Sinha, the Telecom Minister said at the launch,”India is moving towards a new era of New India and Digital India project will be the main contributor to realizing the dream of new India. Mobile services and other applications like online educators etc. are contributed a big deal in Digital India.”

Speaking of the device, Bharat-1 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM. It has a small 2.4-inch QVGA display and 2MP rear camera + VGA front camera. All this is powered by 2000 mAh battery.
Being a device from the House of Micromax, it will have Micromax Entertainment. This will allow users to enjoy unlimited Live TV, Music, Movies, etc.
