HMD owned Nokia brand is all set to make it’s affordable smartphone available to Indian crowd from today. The all new Nokia 2 handset will be available in India from today, November 24, 2017.
The device was announced last month with couple other handsets from the once-very-popular maker. Now we all have to see how it does in this second life.
Nokia 2 Price in India
The all new affordable Nokia 2 price in India is set to 6,999INR, making it really a cheap phone if we look at the cost. Looking at the value for phone aspect, the handset does good.
It got 5-inch in-cell touch display with HD resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Gorilla Glass 3 protection is offered at front. Snapdragon 212 SoC is powering the show underneath with its quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz. 1GB of RAM might not sound that good on paper but it can still be good, considering the stock Android OS (version 7.1.1 Nougat).
There is an 8-MP camera on the back with LED flash and autofocus. For the selfie needs, a 5-MP shooter is placed in front. Non-removable 4,100mAh battery is the real deal as it can help the device to easily last for a full day and easily stretch to the second.
The company is claiming 2 days of battery life.
8GB of internal storage is what you get with an option to expand up to 128GB using a second SIM slot on hybrid tray. Personally, I think it would have been better if device featured at least, 16GB of onboard storage as 8GB is too less considering the size of modern apps and the OS itself.
The handset is made up of plastic with an aluminum frame. The back is made up of polycarbonate, giving smooth feel while holding. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and microUSB 2.0 are the connectivity options along with support for 4G bands.
Nokia 2 Offers

If you open a Kotak 811 saving account and activate it with initial deposit of 1000INR then you get accidental damage insurance for 12 months. To be honest, this particular deal isn’t that exciting.
