We have been keeping you updated of every solid rumour which makes it to the mills about the upcoming Galaxy S9 and this time, we’ve something really solid. The much rumoured flagship for 2018 is going to arrive earlier than expected.
Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+
As per the new report, the device will be shown first at CES 2018 which will be held in Las Vegas in January. This will mark as the official unveiling of the device but it will still take a couple of months to be officially available to the consumers.
Or maybe, Samsung might have different plans for Galaxy S9 and S9+!
The flagship pair in question here is going to feature few changes. For starters, the fingerprint scanner will move down to the centre location which makes sense compared to the current awkward location in S8 and S8+.
Underneath, Snapdragon 845 will be running the show, which will be flagship SoC for 2018 from Qualcomm. It will bring performance improvement to the flagship pair. The bigger handset is tipped to feature 6GB of RAM, compared to the current 4GB.
The S8+ model will also feature dual camera setup which we have already seen in Note 8 this year. It might not be true as I expect both models to have dual-camera setup.
For the audiophiles, 3.5mm audio jack is reported to be kept for another year and a dedicated stereo speaker (of AKG brand) will also find space on board. This all will make up to deliver impressive audio experience.
This was all I have for today but it opens up one thing, i.e., we will see a lot more leaks in coming weeks as we’re now just two months away from seeing Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in real.
