Sony smartphones might not be a hot cake but the brand is in no mood to give up. They have continued with the traditional boxy design even in 2017 and judging from the recent leak, there won’t be any changes in 2018.
Sony H8216 Xperia XZ1 Specs leaked
Sony H8216 smartphone, which is supposed to be flagship handset for 2018, has leaked. Xperia XZ1 might be the name when it comes out in real.
Going with the leaked pictures, the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is top-of-the-line. Inside, 4GB of RAM will be coupled with 64GB UFS onboard storage. Expansion option will be part of the deal using microSD card.
5.48-inch is what the display measures with resolution of 1920x1080p (full HD). It clearly hints that there won’t be the 18:9 aspect ratio here, which is surprising as this is already becoming a standard.
I hope they do work on minimising the bezels though!
3310mAh rated battery is packed inside with support for QuickCharge and Android 8.1 Oreo is handling the OS side. The camera department is a delight as there are two 12MP shooter, arranged on the rear side. Xperia flagships have been known for their camera performance. For the selfie nerds, there is a 15MP front facing camera.
The handset will weigh 156 grams, measuring 7.4mm in thickness. It will be IP65/68 rated too.
