Google has officially released the list of the set of smartwatches receiving Android Wear Oreo update. Some of the devices already have the update available meanwhile others have the update in the queue.

Android Oreo mobile update was released on 21st August while the developer preview was available since March 2017. Android Oreo has recently announced Android Go which is a budget-friendly stock Android for budget devices.

Android Oreo 8.0 features are notification grouping, picture-in-picture for video playback, performance optimization and battery optimization. One major update of Android Oreo was Bluetooth 5 support. This version supports Internet Of Things (IoT). Bluetooth 5 provides the much necessary boost to facilitate IoT.

The Android Wear Oreo update brings the usual updates like new notification channel for apps and a battery saving mode. It also brings support for new languages – Dutch (Belgium), Czech, Spanish (El Salvador), Spanish (Honduras), Spanish (Paraguay), Portuguese (Portugal), English (Nigeria).

The vibration has new settings of normal, long and double settings, a touch lock feature allows users to disable the touch-to-wake feature, manually enable battery saver mode and battery saving background limits.
