A recent sighting at TENNA has brought Oppo A83 into the mainframe which looks like a solid mid-range contender. The device was nowhere in the rumour mills before this listing appeared a couple of hours ago.
Oppo A83 appears at TENNA
The handset in question here features a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of HD+, 1440×720 pixels giving us the confirmation of 18:9 aspect ratio. There is an unknown octa-core SoC underneath clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM. 16GB storage is onboard with an option to expand up to 128GB.
13MP and 8MP are the camera combination at rear and front, respectively. I won’t be surprised to see a selfie flash as Oppo is known to target the selfie obsessed generation. Android 7.1.1 Nougat seems to be the operating system onboard.
It lacks a fingerprint scanner as of the details out now which is questionable. But, it might come true as Oppo did it on purpose to keep the cost low. The dimensions mentioned are 150.5mm x 73.1mm x 7.7mm, which makes it slim and compact. It also hints towards the bezel-free design. It weighs 143 grams with all these internals.

Support for 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GSP are all onboard. The listing also confirmed the battery capacity which stays at 3090mAh. Black and Gold are the two color variants pointed out.
As of now, no other details are known to us but it does look like a solid mid-range contender. What do you think about it?
