Soon after Vodafone announced that they have tied up with Samsung to offer cashback on certain smartphones, Bharti Airtel tied up with Itel to launch budget-friendly 4G smartphones.
This partnership is a part of Airtel’s ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ initiative to build to make a group of partners who will make 4G smartphones that can be afforded by everyone.
According to Airtel’s PR, buyers will get a cashback of Rs. 1,500 on Itel A40 4G and Itel A41 smartphones respectively. The former can be bought by paying Rs. 4,599 and latter by Rs. 4,699. The cashback will be credited to the customer over a period of 36 months i.e 3 years!
These two smartphones will allow buyers to recharge their Airtel numbers with Rs. 169 which will give them unlimited calling and data benefits.
After 18 months of continuous recharges, customers will get a cashback of Rs. 500 while Rs. 1000 can be won after the next 18 months of continuous recharges.

Vodafone is offering cashback for some Samsung 4G smartphones
Vodafone partnered with Samsung to offer a cashback of Rs. 1,500 for selected Samsung 4G smartphones.
