The much expected dual rear camera feature in last year released Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be released in 2018’s flagship lineup from the South Korean giant. But, the innovation in camera department will not stop at just doubling the camera sensors on the back.
Samsung Galaxy S9 leaked camera details
As a new leaked document hints, Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will have dual camera setup on the rear side, which will be capable of recording full HD videos (1080p) at 480fps standard.
If it really happens, Samsung will join the only brand at this feast, i.e., Sony.
For the naives here, videos at 480fps can be super slow videos with rich information. The feature is capable of becoming a selling feature in any flagship smartphone. At this time, Sony and iPhones are the only one in this specific business. But, that is all about to change with Galaxy S9 pair launch.
If we believe the earlier leaked details, the flagship pair might also feature variable aperture, which will be a game changer in mobile photography. Phase detection auto focus will also be improved in the new flagship lineup.
Samsung might also be working on including under-the-display fingerprint sensor, like the one demoed in Vivo smartphone during CES this year. If it happens, the company will be able to push the screen-to-body ratio to unimaginable limits, making a truly edge-to-edge display.
