We know that brands like Samsung and Huawei are gearing up to launch gadgets at Mobile World Congress 2018. Asus, the Taiwanese company is also gearing up to launch a bunch of devices at the same event.
A Chinese media outlet has revealed this news of Asus launching smartphones at MWC 2018. The expected smartphones are – Zenfone 5, Zenfone 5Z, Zenfone Max Pro (M1), Zenfone 5, Zenfone Max Pro.
Even though Zenfone 5Z will be launched in June 2018, a bunch of features is already out about the same – Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB RAM and dual rear camera. This phone is referred as Ultimate Luxury while the Zenfone 5 is expected to be the Premium Luxury device.
The Zenfone 5 smartphones will be having an aspect ratio of 18:9 with negligible bezels but large chins.
These devices are also expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chipset which is yet to be made official by Qualcomm. Doing so, Asus will be the first company to feature this chipset in their devices.
Besides these premium phones, Evan Blass, the famous Twitter leakster has also mentioned about Asus Zenfone 5 Lite which will be a water down version of the Zenfone 5 device in terms of specs as well pricing.
