Nokia 8 Sirocco specs leaked ahead of possible launch at MWC

Nokia 8 Sirocco is unknown to most of the market. It came to limelight when NokiaMob discovered the Nokia 8 logo inside the camera app (v8.0230.50).

Nokia 8 Sirocco got certified at Thai certification site with model number TA-1005. Here are the specs of the same.

The device is a high-end smartphone will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and 6GB RAM. When Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset gets power by 6GB RAM, the result would be quite impressive. As far as the storage and battery are concerned, the device will have 128GB internal storage and 3250mAh battery on board.

In the camera department, the phone will be power by Zeiss’ powerful dual rear camera of 12MP + 13MP. All the premium phones from Nokia are powered by the camera lens of the same company.

The phone will support wireless charging. Wireless charging also means that the device will come with a glass back. It will also come with the IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.

As far as the pricing is concerned, Nokia 8 Sirocco will be priced at 5000 Yuan i.e. ~ Rs. 51,000. The original Nokia 8 had a massive price cut in India (read below), it’s very doubtful why HMD Global would launch Nokia 8 Sirocco at such a high price bracket.
