What Essential Phone started, later amplified by iPhone X is now becoming usual in the Android space and OnePlus will be the next to join the part. OnePlus 6 will feature notched screen.
It’s not just a rumour anymore as the news is coming straight from Carl Pie, the co-founder of OnePlus. He has given such statement in an interview given to TheVerge.
OnePlus 6 notched screen!
Carl Pie stated that the decision to keep notch on the top and following the iPhone X’s trend, is an aesthetic move rather than anything else. Keeping the notch atop leaves the company to offer even better screen-to-body ratio as the notifications can now shift on top.
I do agree with his thought as a notched screen do help the makers to achieve even thinner bezels. But, it still looks buggy on Android than compared to how subtle it looks on iPhone X. Although, OnePlus will keep a smaller notch than iPhone X.
The flagship OnePlus 6 is expected to launch in coming month, offering a competitive device to the Android lovers and an upgrade for previous generation OnePlus flagship users.

As usual, it will feature top-of-the-line Snapdragon SoC, paired with 6-8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, at least. Apart from the notched screen atop, I’m interested to know if it will go ahead and provide wireless charging feature or not.
