Huawei launched Huawei Y9 (2018) in Thailand without much hush-hush. The USPs of the device is – four cameras, 18:9 display and 4,000mAh battery. The device comes in the usual color variants of Black, Blue and Gold.
As far as the specifications of Huawei Y9 (2018) is concerned, the device will come with a massive 5.93-inch display with IPS LCD Display in FHD+ resolution. The screen has a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixel. As mentioned as one of the USPs of Huawei Y9 (2018), the device has an aspect ratio of 18:9.
Huawei Y9 (2018) will be powered by a powerful octa-core Kirin 659 SoC. It also has 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and 256GB external storage via microSD card. Another USP of Huawei Y9 (2018) as mentioned earlier is the 4,000mAh battery. Huawei has managed to keep the device as thin as 7.9mm only. My money is on the massive screen size. What do you say?
Another USP of Huawei Y9 (2018) is the four cameras. There are 2 rear cameras and 3 front cameras. The rear camera is 13MP + 2MP while the front camera is 16MP + 2MP. Not only will your sceneries look better, you can also have better selfies and groupfies!
The Huawei Y9 (2018) will run on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 skin out-of-the-box. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor which will be placed on the back panel.
What more, all these specs are priced at 200EUR only. The Indian currency equivalent is Rs. 16,000 but there is a high chance that the device pricing will touch Rs. 20,000 if (and when) launched in India.
What’re your views on Huawei Y9 (2018)? This looks like quite a happy device to me!
