We covered about Moto E5, Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Play in our last post. Besides these devices, Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play have also been launched. Moto G6 Play and G6 have been launched at $199 (~Rs. 13,174) and $249 (~Rs. 16,485) respectively. These phones have been launched at a higher price than the G5 series but still continues to be in the pocket-friendly range. Let’s have a quick look at the specs.
Motorola Moto G6
The Moto G6 comes with a 5.7-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a screen resolution of 1080p Full HD+. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the front panel at the usual place of the traditional Home Button. The back panel of Moto G6 is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.
Moto G6 is powered by a 12MP + 5MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and an 8MP front shooter. The camera comes with AI capabilities which help you tell the features of an object when pointed to, portrait mode, scan mode and spot color mode to color a certain area and turn the rest into black and white.
Under the hood is Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset with 3GB or 4GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB internal storage,
The device will be powered by a 3000mAh battery with TurboPower charger for fast charging via USB Type C slot. The phone is water repellent and comes with a headphone jack.
Motorola Moto G6 Play
Moto G6 Play will come with -inch display with an aspect ratio of and a screen resolution of The back panel of the device has a 3D polymer glass which makes it scratch-resistant but only to a certain extent.
Under the hood is Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 chipset with 2GB or 3GB RAM. It runs on Android 8.0 out-of-the-box. In the storage front, there would be 16GB or 32GB internal storage. On the rear side, there’s a 13MP camera with LED Flash and can shoot slow-motion video and an 8MP camera on the front.
The Moto G6 Play will be backed up by a 4000mAh battery that will last you up to 36hours as promised by the company.
