Vivo X21 UD with under display fingerprint sensor launching in India on 29th May

Vivo X21 UD is launching in India on 29th May. The main USP of the device is an under-display fingerprint sensor. Besides, Vivo X21 UD is the first X-series smartphone launched by Vivo in India (the first X20 UD was not launched in India).

As far as the Vivo X21 UD is concerned, the USP in under glass fingerprint sensor. The device is slightly over the budget i.e. Rs. 39,000 (approx.) in India, CNY 3,598 in China and SGD 799 in Singapore. At this price range, the device would be a competitor for OnePlus and Nokia phones.

Vivo X21 UD will come with 6.28-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080x 2280 pixel and aspect ratio of 19:9. Unfortunately, the device comes with a notch at the usual upper edge. The device measures 154.5 x 74.8 x 7.4mm and weighs 156.2 gm.

Under the hood is Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with Adreno 512 GPU, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage and external expandable storage up to 256GB with the help of a microSD card.

Vivo X21 UD will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. In the wireless connectivity front, you will get dual LTE SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, A-GPS.

In the camera section, Vivo X21 will have a 12MP+5MP dual rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and f/2.4 and 12MP front camera with an aperture of f/2.0. The front camera also comes with a Face Wake feature which will help wake the device while locked with the user’s face The device will be powered by 3,000mAh battery which supports fast charging.

Let’s talk about the invite. The image shows a fancy X with a fingerprint impression at the center. This clearly states that the device to be launched is Vivo X21 UD with an under-glass fingerprint sensor. Pretty fancy, don’t you think?
