A mid-ranger smartphone was released in China this April from Oppo, dubbed as Oppo A3. The handset came with a notched display, making it among the first few affordable ones with a notch.
Now the same handset is breaking its “China exclusive” term as the brand is launching it in Taiwan on June 23, i.e., tomorrow.
Oppo A3 Specifications
The handset comes in four colors, Black, Red, Silver and Soybean Meal. Inside, there is MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, housing an octa-core CPU and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. There is 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage combination which is expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot, which is impressive.
The front features a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display having tall resolution of 19:9 (1080 x 2280 pixels). The rear side has a 16MP camera with phase detection autofocus and f/1.8 aperture with LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter at front.
Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and microUSB 2.0 are the connectivity options offered. There is a massive non-removable 3,400mAh battery packed inside which is intended to offer a full day of battery life easily.
It will be available via online and offline channels for the price of NTD 10,990 (~ $365). What do you think?
