The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) was launched in January 2018 with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

Samsung has officially declared about this update on their official site. The Android Oreo update has been rolled out in Russia and will be followed up by other regions soon. Besides bringing in VoLTE support for both the SIM cards and Dolby Atmos support, the update also brings security patch for July.

The build for Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is A530FXXU2BRG1 and┬áSamsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) is A730FXXU2BRG1. Let’s check out the device specifications if you aren’t aware of them.
