After a lot of stalling, LG V30 is finally coming to India. LG V30 will be priced at Rs. 47,990. This is not the final price, but it will definitely be around it cause LG V20 was launched at slightly higher pricing.
LG V20 had an amazing audio. The tradition will be handed down to the next generation (LG V30) as well. I have recorded and heard the audio quality of V30, the other companies really need to pump up their game now!
LG V30 will have LG’s Hi-Fi DAC with added digital filters. These filters will help in customising the phone’s sound. There will be 4 pre-programmed sound settings – Enhanced, Detailed, Live and Bass. A user can select either of these based on their preference.
LG said in a statement,” Even with ordinary equipment, LG V30 users can experience much of the high-quality audio enjoyed by listeners using expensive headsets.”
LG V30 official mobile launch is just a couple of days away. We know most of the features of the device by now. What we don’t know is slowly getting revealed.
LG V-series is a premium series just like the S-series and Note series from Samsung. One of the biggest hurdles of LG V30 to become the best device of the quarter in Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Samsung has this amazing hold at the premium phones section because the phones genuinely stand out. However, LG V series isn’t that bad as well. Having almost similar specs, the pricing plays a major factor.
A word is going around that LG V30 will be priced at $700 i.e. ~Rs. 45,000. As for Samsung Galaxy Note 8, that latest rumor on its pricing suggests it will be priced at $1000 i.e. ~Rs. 64,000.
Let’s take the news with a pinch of salt and wait for the official launch of the device.
Here’s another one of LG V30 feature that has been revealed. According to it, the V30 will come with the integration of HD TouchSense. It promises haptic feedback better than usual vibrations.
They said,”For example, in the camera app, when you take a picture you feel a shutter click just like a DSLR; when you adjust camera settings, it feels like you’re spinning a finely turned mechanical knob. When you dismiss a notification, navigate from one home screen to another and perform several other interactions, you feel subtle effects that match the animations perfectly, resulting in better usability and perceived design quality.”
LG V30 launch is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be happier. Afterall, it’s a premium device from the house of LG. However, the latest rumor about the device suggests that the device would be launched in 2 variants – LG V30 and LG V30 Plus.
The Plus variants are a slightly higher version than the non-plus variant. Usually, the chipset, camera, display, etc remains intact but the RAM and internal storage get an upgrade. The V30 Plus is expected to come more storage and wireless charging capability.
LG has started sending out media invites for the launch of LG V30. The date has been fixed to August 31st. It will be unveiled at Berlin, Germany. The time of the event to kick start is 3.30PM.
LG V30 is another premium phone from LG which will be launched officially on 31st August. The device will go on sale soon after that. Now that the launch date is nearing, more specs are getting leaked and they seem to be legit.
The latest leak about the LG V30 suggests that the device would come with 6-inch OLED display with QHD+ resolution. The aspect ratio of the device would be 18:9.
In other words, the top bezel of V30 would be 20% thinner and bottom bezel would be 50% thinner. It will come with a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and IP68 certification.
Just like most of the premium and some of the phones, LG V30 will sport a dual rear camera setup. Some sources close to LG has said that the rear camera will have an aperture of f/1.6 as opposed to the other camera which ranges from f/2.0 to f/1.7.

There are always a bunch of leaks before an official phone (movie). Some of them are fan made while some of them are official ones. Same goes for this device. However, this video is claimed to be based on official design.
Have a look at the video yourself.
*Take this video with a pinch of salt as it has not yet been confirmed by the company.
The secondary display is like a strip of the screen that’s placed along the upper edge of the display. The main functionality of the display it to act as a shortcut for apps or customize it with some text. It’s not a necessity, but if I were to buy the phone, I would look forward to having it.
Personally, I think there are chances of the display disappearing because they were planning to launch the device earlier than the scheduled launch at IFA in September.
But that’s what I think. It might not be the case. Rather, there are also chances than the device come with the secondary display when it’s launched.
Unibody designs are quite famous amidst smartphones as it makes the phone compact as well as reduce the thickness of the device. Who doesn’t love a sleek device?
Additionally, there are also rumors which suggest that the LG V30 will come with wireless charging.
But I’m quite pumped up about the device. Especially after I came to know that the LG V30 will come with a bezel-less display. Bezel-less displays, as not user-friendly as it is, still happens to be quite an eye candy for me.
LG V30 will come with a bezel-less display. It’s not unusual for phones to come with bezel-less displays, but it is always wonderful to know an upcoming premium smartphone getting added to that category.
