Motorola has released a new model updating the Z series. The newer Moto Z3 Play is what they have named the new handset which comes with very 2018 design. Brazil is the first country to get the handset with the price tag of R$2,299. US will be the next getting it for $499.
Moto Z3 Play Specs
The front side is dominated by a 6-inch tall AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. The bezels at the top are bare minimum, just to keep the camera and sensors and the bottom one is again minimum, just to keep the Motorola branding. The fingerprint has to do the sacrifice for these narrow bezels as it gets settled at the sidebar, just like an Xperia.
Underneath, there is a Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and two internal storage option, 32GB and 64GB. Adreno 509 GPU is handling the graphic department. To power this all, a 3,000mAh battery is packed inside with a support for 15W TurboPower charging. Android Oreo OS is running the software department.
The rear side features a 12MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture paired with a 5MP sensor. Together they work to give the bokeh effect. There is dual-tone LED flash and dual-pixel autofocus system inside. The front side features an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
It will arrive with bunch of Moto MODS like one for the speaker and battery. It should be made available globally in coming two weeks.
