Did you update your WhatsApp? No? Well, you must!
WhatsApp has started rolling out new updates. In this update, you can send multiple contacts at once. All you have to do is go to the attachments and click on Contacts. Then, you can go on selecting as many contacts as you want and send them to another contact/group.
Interestingly, you can send both normal contacts or the numbers having WhatsApp account.
Just for fun, I tried selecting as many contacts as I can. I could select 100 + contacts. This update is really a big update!
The second update is, you can send GIfs with Google’s GBoard keyboard. But this update is effective iff your Android is running on Android 7.1 or above.
These features were already rolled out to beta users. So if you are beta users like me, then the following news will be of your benefit.
WhatsApp will roll out 2 new updates to everyone. They are – Change Number and Live Location.
Previously, changing number would lead to loss of chats. But this update will stop that from happening. The ‘Change Number’ feature is already there in WhatsApp beta version 2.17.130 for Windows 10 OS mobiles users.

This feature can be notified to all, none or a couple of users. But you have to turn this feature on in Settings as it will be off by default.
Sharing live location via Google Maps recently went live. The Live location is something similar to that. As a matter of fact, it’s already there for the beta user. If you aren’t a beta user, you have to wait for a couple of days before you can enjoy this feature.
Note: Yes, beta users do get the update way before you. But, it’s better to have a stable app rather than going for more features in an unstable app.
If you are a parent, the live location feature will make you relaxed as you can track your kid in real time.
Besides, I think sending multiple contacts would have been a bonus earlier while changing phones. But now, it isn’t of much use now.
The more, the merrier!
