With a 6-inch screen at front and Snapdragon 630 SoC underneath, Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is the new offering from the Japanese smartphone maker and it will soon be available in four colors, Black, Gold, Green, and Silver.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus Launched
It is a mid-budget offering from Sony, borrowing a lot of features from its bigger siblings, Xperia A2 and A2 Ultra. For example the 23MP MotionEye camera at the rear and the SoC underneath.
The SoC is carrying an octa-core CPU cloaked at 2.2GHz and paired with either 4GB of RAM or 6GB of RAM. 32GB and 64GB internal storage are the two options available, both featuring a microSD card slot to expand it further.
There is 6-inch LCD screen having HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio giving it a taller profile. Gorilla Glass 5 is handling the protection department at the screen level which is a good thing to have. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the back underneath the rear camera.
There is a single 23MP camera at the rear side capable of recording 4K videos and slow-mo videos at 120 fps. Aperture is set to f/2.0 and it’s a 84-degree wide angle lens. The front side features a 120-degree super wide angle 8MP snapper with f/2.4 aperture.
There is a 3,580mAh battery packed inside with a support for QuickCharge 3.0 along with USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack too. We still have to hear a word on pricing and availability details which is the last piece of puzzle left.
