If you think you’re alone, expecting a 4inch variant of an iPhone with latest generation specifications and display, then let me tell you one thing. You’re not alone! I’m with you in this, and let’s hope a lot of other people are in too.
According to the Ming-Chi Kuo, a reliable analyst, Apple is preparing a launch of a new iPhone with 4inch display and currently available A9 processor. This new smartphone is going to replace the existing iPhone 5s.
The report first published in 9to5MAC, further explains that this new device is going to drop the 3D Touch in order to keep a clear differentiation between the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus and the future coming iPhone 7.
Also, the device isn’t expected to feature the next generation of the SoC, which definitely will be the A10, powering the iPhone 7.
Moving with the report farther, Apple is also planning on differentiating the two flagship models at the specifications side. The 4.7inch model to house 2GB of RAM while the bigger 5.5inch to house 3GB of RAM.
Coming back to our main topic, a 4inch iPhone, the smartphone is tipped to get an early 2016 launch. But, considering the history of Apple, this new refreshed phone will arrive with the iPhone 7.
At this moment, nothing is clear, but considering the source of this report, I’m totally believing in. Let’s see what comes out and when?
