With this new release, ZTE has gone really big with its numbers, as the newly offered handset is featuring 6inch of screen. It’s named ZTE Axon MAX and is already available in China at CNY 2,799 which roughly converts to $431.
Based on the images released, the device does look super premium from every corner and is running a skinned version of Android. At its heart, the newly offered Qualcomm’s SoC, Snapdragon 617 is packed which offers an octa-core CPU inside coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is a hybrid SIM tray offered, thus, offering dual SIM capability with a storage expansion option.
At the front, 6inch display is added with full HD resolution. The panel used is AMOLED which will make everything look super pleasing. Te rear side holds a fingerprint scanner along with a 16MP shooter with LED flash and phase detection autofocus. At the front, a 13MP selfie shooter is placed, which is really a big number to tout.
Inside, a battery of 4,140mAh rating is slipped which supports QuickCharge 2.0, promising 60% of charge from nowhere in a mere 30 minutes. The battery itself is quite large and the added QuickCharge feature further improves it.
The handset uses a USB Type-C port which is another attraction along with 24-bit ADC tech to offer better audio quality. At its build, it uses aircraft-grade aluminum-titanium alloy. It measures 7.5 mm in thickness. The device will be available in Gold color variant for China market, but there is no official word on its international availability.
