In a recently leaked set of pictures on Baidu, Nokia 9 appears with a Notched Screen, hinting towards joining the next revolution in the smartphone-screen department.
Nokia 9 Notched Screen
Google has officially confirmed the support for notched screen in upcoming Android P, which makes it possible for remaining manufacturers to join this new revolution. The handset we’re talking about here, is much rumoured these days.
Nokia 9 is said to be the next flagship from HMD owned, Nokia.
The handset is expected to feature a 6-inch screen with tall 18:9 aspect ratio. Thanks to the new design standards, the bezels will be minimal, allowing the screen to stretch till all four corners.
The rear camera department will feature two sensors, for sure and they will be equipped with Carl-Zeiss optics. Some rumours suggest that the handset will be featuring a Portrait Mode too!
Of course, it will be powered by top-of-the-line Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoC, coupled with at least, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. NFC and Wireless charging will be onboard as well.
There will be a Pro model of the same device, featuring more RAM and internal storage and bigger display. The design part is fairly known as there is hardly any space left for fresh experiments but I’m still not neglecting it, as we are talking about Nokia flagship here.
