2015 was the last year we saw a flip phone from Samsung running Android and we’re going to see another one in 2018. A recent sitings at FCC confirms the presence of a 2018 Android flip phone from the South Korean maker.
Samsung W2018 Specs
The Android Flip Phone is named Samsung W2018 as per the FCC listing and as usual, we have got to know a bunch of specifications which I’m all set to pen down here. Ready?
It will be featuring 4.2-inch measuring screens having Super AMOLED panels on each side. The resolution expected is to be full HD, 1080p.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 will be running the show, coupled with 3 or 4GB of RAM. There will be a 12MP camera on the rear side while the front side will be featuring a 5MP selfie shooter. Both the cameras should be of Galaxy S8 standards, as this Samsung made flip phone is going to be really costly.
Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and Wi-Fi are all onboard and there is said to be a battery of 2,300mAh rating. We even have a model number which goes as R38J906NX2E.
For now, this is all we know. If some reports are to be believed, Samsung W2018 Flip Phone running Android will be launch in China on December 1. One can expect it to be priced around $2000.
