According to a report, Motorola might be working on their first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone. Motorola Moto C2 has already been listed with model number XT1920 in FCC.
The details revealed by the FCC listing suggests that Moto C2 will come with 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and a battery capacity ranging from 2000mAh to 2100mAh. As far as the display of Moto C2 is concerned, the device will range from 5.0inch to 5.2inch and measure 142.88 x 71.22mm.
If you are not aware of Android Go smartphones, you’ll definitely be disappointed with the specs you read above. FYI, Android Oreo (Go Edition) operating system is designed in such a way that they run smoothly on devices with as low as 1GB RAM.
Moto C2 is the successor of last year Moto C. The device came with a 5-inch display (854 x 480-pixel resolution), powered by a MediaTek processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. Specifications wise there doesn’t seem to be much of an upgrade, but the Android Oreo (Go Edition) will definitely help the device run smoothly.
Not much is known about the device yet. Likewise, there has been no word on the official launch of the smartphone. Feel free to drop your views in the comments below.
