According to SamMobile, Samsung is delaying the update for Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro, Galaxy C7 Pro, Galaxy C9 Pro, Galaxy J7 (2017), Galaxy J7 Neo, Galaxy On5 (2016), Galaxy On7 (2016) and Galaxy On7 (2018).
Samsung has updated a schedule on their India Member app about the latest Android Oreo update. According to the schedule, Samsung will be delaying the update for the above-mentioned devices besides some other devices. These devices will allegedly receive the update by December 2018.
The devices in this list include Galaxy Tab S3, Galaxy Tab A (2017), Galaxy J7 Max, Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), Galaxy C7 Pro, Galaxy C9 Pro, Galaxy J7 (2017), Galaxy J7 Neo, Galaxy On5 (2016) and Galaxy On7 (2016).
Samsung, like other manufacturers, delays rolling out the Android update to their devices. One of the reasons is the customization of Samsung Experience UI which is a Samsung’s skin which filters stock Android from their users.
In a nutshell, some the devices of Galaxy A, Galaxy J and Galaxy On series will receive their Android Oreo update.
